Bay Blue cheese by Point Reyes Farmstead Cheese Company is a real stand out in the blue cheese category of cheeses! It is the newest addition to Point Reyes Farmstead line-up of cheeses. Since its debut, it has been stealing the show. It has already took home 2nd Place, Best in Show at the 2014 American Cheese Society Conference and 1st Place in the Cows’ Milk Rinded Blue Cheese category. This a wonderful all-around cheese. It has a lovely texture and a very pleasing flavor with it’s creamy, buttery taste with a slightly grassy tang finish. It is all natural, pasteurized, semi-hard, with a natural rind. Toma is Kosher-certified, gluten-free and made with microbial (vegetarian) rennet. It is perfect for snacking anytime, in grilled cheese, mac-n-cheese, sauces, and burgers. It will make any dish just a little bit more special – a crowd favorite (and obviously, and deservably, a judge’s favorite too!
